When one says wise guys, some probably think of some smartypants guy who always seems to have something smart (not always intellectually smart) to say/always countering someone or you might think of the type of men in the Wise Guys movie. To be honest, either guy can impart some wisdom into your life and in essence you can call them a wise guy.
We all can use some wise guys and gals who can help us along in this journey of life. It truly takes a village to raise children these days with all of the degradation and decay going on and if you are a single mother you might actually lack some wise guys speaking into your children’s lives.
In Kent Evans book, Wise Guys, has surrounded himself with guys who can help navigate life and in a positive way. Not to say anyone’s perfect, but learning and being a man is a challenge and not always easy. There is a journey to manhood and one cannot do it own your own. You need other men and Kent shows you how to examine in your heart the men you are around to see if they can be your Wise Guy #wiseguys and specifically that one that is aiding you to become that Man that God created you to be.
This book is written with the men’s perspective, however it can be used by women as well. Everyone needs help in this life and many around you have experienced things and are willing to share so you do not have to make the same mistakes they may have made. We all need help become what God has created us to be, don’t be afraid to examine yourself and ask others for help.
