Who needs a nail salon?

I try to spoil him. Sometimes I am quite busy and feel bad when I do not take care of him in that special way. What special way you ask?

I looked at his nails and thought that they looked horrible!!! Sike, they are not that bad, but you can tell that they have been neglected.

To let you in on a secret, I have been doing his nails before we were married 8 years ago, so he has not been to a nail salon since before then. We were off today, so I decided to take care of him today. He told me that there were a couple of nails that scratched him, so his thing to do is to bite the nails off and he just knows that burns my biscuits.

Taking care of his nails is what I do and by golly no matter what I have to put off today I will get to them. Who needs a nail salon? You do not when you can do them yourself. As you can see his nails were a bit long and his cuticles were bad. I had in my arsenal a large set up clippers, smaller clippers, nail files and a cuticle cutter (#gotbeauty). Seeing as though I have manicured his nails plenty of times, I have used every tool with the exception of my new toy, the Cuticle Cutter.

I went through the process of cutting, filing and as I see the professional do, I made sure to put his nail beds in a solution of warm water soapy water to make sure it was easy to cut the cuticles when that time came.

Here is the dreaded time, because I did not want to hurt him, but he was a trooper. I think I hurt him once by not cutting properly, but after it came back to mind what I saw in the nail salon I was able to cut the cuticles quickly and neatly. The cuticle cutters are pretty sharp so be careful, but well worth it. What do you think? I think it was worth using. Try it for yourself and you maybe you can save some money by not going to the nail salon as much and/or give someone you love a manicure. They will appreciate it I am sure. Who needs a nail salon? Not this girl. Well I am going to say not my guy, but yes on occasion this girl does need a nail salon:)
