The Abide Bible

I have received this Bible free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. #abidebible #abideinchrist #abide #bible #studybible

There are certainly lots of translations of the Bible out there, and you wonder why a certain translation was chosen. Well in comes, The Abibe Bible with the translator’s notes. That is a first, right! Well, it is for me and that is part of the reason why I was so eager to review and share about The Abide Bible.

About The Abide Bible

The Abide Bible is designed to help you experience the peace, hope, and growth that come from encountering the voice and presence of God in Scripture. Every feature in Abide is designed to teach and develop Scripture-engagement habits that help you know the power and spiritual nourishment of abiding in Christ.

Backstory

The NET Bible (New English Translation) is a completely new translation of the Bible with 60,932 translators’ notes! It was completed by more than 25 scholars – experts in the original biblical languages – who worked directly from the best currently available Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek texts. Turn the pages and see the breadth of the translators’ notes, documenting their decisions and choices as they worked.

The translators’ notes make the original languages far more accessible, allowing you to look over the translator’s shoulder at the very process of translation. This level of documentation is a first for a Bible translation, making transparent the textual basis and the rationale for key renderings (including major interpretive options and alternative translations).

This unparalleled level of detail helps connect people to the Bible in the original languages in a way never before possible without years of study of Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. It unlocks the riches of the Bible’s truth from entirely new perspectives.

Artwork attracts all of us, whether we realize it or not. The artwork in the Abide Bible draws you in more and makes you wonder what the artist who drew it was thinking. Created beautifully, it has features such as:

Journaling Scripture: helping you concentrate and reflect on a passage.

Engaging Through Art: combining visual art and inspired words of the Bible

Praying Scripture: biblical prayers that can help strengthen your spiritual life

Picture It: helping you empathize with the people in the Bible

Contemplate: helps to facilitate a personal conversation with Him
