Grape Harvest Celebration Party
Harvested grapes can make such beautiful music in one’s glass and that is what we found at the Grape Harvest Celebration Party last weekend. An intimate gathering of people from various races, genders and experiences enjoying great wine, good farm to table pairings, and enlightening conversations. This evening was a special treat for hubby and I because we’ve never been to a winery. This was a collaborated event with The Gifted Ferret, a beautiful shopping boutique and Big Door Vineyards, winery which is currently being built. We checked in and were given our own engraved wine glass that we took to each table to sample the various wines. Let’s get sampling and first…

Hale Fertility Journey Summer 2016 Edition and 15 pounds weight loss
Hello All. I have to admit, I had hoped to be better about documenting our Hale Fertility Journey, but to be honest with all of the changes that have occurred in our lives it has been a challenge to keep up with everything including posting. I wanted to surprise you all with a treat. Instead of coming to you with some sad story and lame background, I wanted to have hubby fill you in on our update. We went to beautiful Daytona Beach Florida to celebrate our 9 year anniversary and a ball we did have. He is totally an awesome guy and all who know him love him, so what we…

Downtown Detroit Bucket List: 6 Stops 2 Days
Skydiving, snorkling with the fishes, deep sea fishing… We all have some type of list including the things we want to do in the future (near or far), so I decided to share my bucket list for Detroit in hopes that maybe you may want to do some of them yourself. Detroit has been given a bad rap and some honestly is true, however some of it is not and it should not scare you or deter you from visiting. There are plenty of wonderful attractions and great food for you to enjoy in Detroit. My father’s side of the family had a reunion in Detroit recently, so I figured…

Mitsubishi Mirage G4 SE loves the Motor City
Traveling around in my automobile. Just in enjoying the sun and enjoying the feel. We truly did love this Mitsubishi Mirage G4 SE that we drove while we were in the Motor City. It felt good to be back at home, the “D”! Mitsubishi Mirage G4 SE loves the Motor City I am all about sedans. Sedans are my favorite type of car whether there are people using all of the doors or not. I just enjoy look and this Mitsubishi Mirage G4 SE did not disappoint. There is enough room for 4 grown individuals and the vehicle is very roomy even for the driver. Nothing but smiles after…

Groupon Handles Travel Needs
This is a sponsored post. All opinions are mine. #groupon #ad #spon Groupon Handles Travel Needs One major trip down and another one on the way. The family reunion was a success and totally worth the trip. I will cover that in another post real soon. We had a ball and it is almost time for hubby and I to take another trip and it is to celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary. What we noticed on our last trip was that we are in need of a couple of things, carry-on luggage and frankly more luggage period. We have decided to travel out of state for a week or so…

4 Free things to do while in Macon
It was boring staying in that hotel room looking at cable television all day while the hubster went about enjoying his business meeting, so instead of being cooped up in the hotel I decided to venture out. During my adventuring, I managed to get lost a good couple of times (I will not say how many, but let’s just say I managed to find my way back by the time his meetings were over for the day) and while I was getting lost I found some need things to do for free.

Savannah almost got me
Traveling and exploring new and fun sites are one of my favorite things to do. It seems that every time we visit somewhere new I fall in love, but I am sure it is just the newness of it. There are a few places so far, that I have hated to leave: Maui: my hubby and I were married Seattle: it always seems to be gloomy, but I think because one of my favorite television shows’ character lived there Frasier Savannah: fast paced slow city Punta Cuna: place where I went on my best grown up vacas with my parents The one that I tell hubby that we can definitely…

World of Coca Cola
On occasion, hubby and I have an opportunity to go on a what we would call, a Hale Adventure and that is when we just on the spur of the moment decide to do something different. We were both off, because he had a doctor’s appointment and after the appointment we decided to go to a new restaurant in Downtown Atlanta. This restaurant received a couple of great reviews, but we did not feel the same. I believe that the waitress was in a hurry to get us in and out and not to help us have a pleasant experience. Can you guess what restaurant we were visiting?
