Birthday Freebies: Atlanta Area
It’s your birthday!!! It was my birthday about a month or so ago and I decided since I usually go through a lot of trouble to take the time to look up various businesses in my area to see if they have birthday clubs that I would make it easier for someone else. There are many sites out there, but I focus on Birthday Freebies: Atlanta Area and the ones that I have taken advantage of or had the chance to take advantage of this year. If you see pictures, it is from actual places that I did obtain something from this year and the rest are from places that…

Juneteenth Celebration
If you are like me and enjoys celebrating the achievements and dreams of your family and friends then you would understand us (hubby and I) saying yes to a friends request to attend an event in which he was performing. We did not have any idea what we were walking into, but knew that it was outside, it is not raining and it was Father’s Day Weekend and what my hubby wants he gets, so we went. Off to Marietta Square and low and behold there is a crowd of people celebrating, “Juneteenth”. I had no idea what it was, but we found our friends/family and sat with them. I…

How to: Flat Twist Demo
Hello Curlies. If you are a regular reader, then you know that I regularly have a hair wash episode and this week is not any different. After a day of getting up early and getting hubby to work, serving at my church and then visiting with my other family, trying not to pass out from heat exhaustion all while having a monthly visitor that I frankly do not want:), I had to come home and do my hair. Last week, I attempted to do a bantu knot out, but it takes a good day before my hair completely dries, so I would usually keep my hair in whatever state it…

Kitchen Ethos Silicone Cooking Mats
I have received this product as a reduced price in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. Let me first start off by saying that I want to be a baker in my present life, but with the cooking pans and containers ending up being so hard to clean afterwards I usually pass on baking too much. I jumped at the chance when I saw the product and said to myself, “I guess I will be baking more often.” I placed the order for the mats and they came in a small box, so much so I did not think it was actually the mats, but it was. They…

Cantu Define and Shine Custard
These are the results of using the Cantu Define and Shine Custard at a distance and I say distance because in person it sucks. Here is my pro and con list: Pro: High definition Con: No Shine and Crunchy and Flakes See below the video showing application of the custard and also the results of the scalp soother. True enough, maybe I put too much product in, but I did not think so, but you tell me.

Head and Shoulders Moisture Care Line
Almost every week there what I would call, “Wash Day” and this particular week I decided to use Head and Shoulders Moisture Care Line Cowash and then followed up with a Deep Conditioner. The cowash was thick and did the job. My hair had not been washed in a good week which is not my usual deal, so I used the cowash and it did clean my hair nicely. I noticed that it did not leave my hair dry or stripped after using it.

Beardsmen Spirit Beard Oil Review
There are products that I as a female just cannot try out, so I convince my loving husband to try them out and give me his honest opinion. My part: The glass bottle arrived safely in with no damage to the packaging. The bottle is 4 ounces which allows for it to be used quite often and there is no chance of it running out any time soon.
