I am totally looking forward to this family friendly event. Every weekend and Memorial Day, April 16 thru June 5, 2016 The 31st Annual Georgia Renaissance Festival is a family-friendly event, and a different kind of theme park. God is in Everything Women’s Conference
God is in Everything Women’s Conference was held January 30, 2016 at Family of God Church in Tucker Georgia and it was held here before, but this is my first one but certainly not the last. You guys missed it. A wonderful and refreshing women’s conference right here in Metro Atlanta and on top of it it was free. That’s right free!! Now we all know that does not happen often, but it was hosted by Team Ni-Shay Ministries. As soon as I walked in I noticed a couple of great vendors there selling their products of course, from black soap, oils, natural hair care products and jewelry. It was…

Death over Funnel Cake
I do not know about you, but I have been to many amusement parks in my younger days and I remember times where I would go the the local amusement park during the summer with my mom and brother and go around the park a few times, ride a few rides and then before we left we had to stop and get some food. Not just a hot dog or hamburger, but funnel cakes and elephant ears. As I have gotten older, I do not have much of a desire to ride rides, but being here in Georgia I have found that there are plenty of fun things to do…

Savannah almost got me
Traveling and exploring new and fun sites are one of my favorite things to do. It seems that every time we visit somewhere new I fall in love, but I am sure it is just the newness of it. There are a few places so far, that I have hated to leave: Maui: my hubby and I were married Seattle: it always seems to be gloomy, but I think because one of my favorite television shows’ character lived there Frasier Savannah: fast paced slow city Punta Cuna: place where I went on my best grown up vacas with my parents The one that I tell hubby that we can definitely…

Need a Jewelry Organizer? Check out Soloportis
When taking a trip I think I pack backwards. I truly do and I say that because most of the time and I am taking, like 90% of the time, I manage to keep the same standard jewelry on regardless to what clothes I bring with me. I am so tired of that. I want to change it up a little and just in time, someone figured that I needed a jewelry organizer:) I would pick outfits based around the jewelry I wanted to wear and that should not be. It should be the other way around and now it can be. I am much more comfortable being able to…

300 PSI Portable Air Compressor
My wonderful husband loves the house that we are in and guess what the main reason is? If you said because he is a large motor loving, gotta have a loud and noisy engine loving hunk of a man you would be correct. He loves the house only because of the amount of grass and because it is so much he can use a riding mower. Yes, I said it a riding mower. He can totally live in the country and be real comfy out there. He would be one of the men you see riding a dune buggy to the mailbox if he could. He just loves power and…

Help us Help Homeless Female Veterans Campaign
Ladies and gentleman, As some of you know, I like to help promote causes and people who are helping others in need. To truly show love, we are to give it to others and not just love ourselves and this is another way of showing love. We are looking for your help in helping Homeless Female Veterans and we are trying to make it happen by partnering up with a great organization called, High Heels and Combat Boots, Inc. who are trying to help homeless Veteran women off the streets, those with and without children. We are asking for individuals to purchase shirts from: Purchase Shirt Here or buy doing…

Feed the Homeless with GPFW and MUST Ministries
If you are a service oriented individual and have a heart for others, there is a worthwhile community event taking place Monday, September 7, 2015 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at the Marietta location of MUST Ministries. My husband and I were asked by a dear brother from our church last year if we wanted to take part in feeding the homeless event and we jumped on it. We prepared a dish and served in whatever capacity was needed that day. It was indeed rewarding just to see the smiles on the faces of some individuals and families who would not have had a Christmas meal that day. We…

2015 Georgia March for Life (Pro-life)
Hello All. This is just a brief post on a subject very near and dear to my heart and that is LIFE. This was on my Pastors’ hearts majorly since last year and the need for us a church body to represent was just as intense. We as a church, attended for the 1st time in 2014 and it was at the State Capital and this year it was held in an area that was more conducive for crowds and that was at Liberty Plaza. My hubby and I went the 1st year together, but because he had to go to training this year he missed it. I missed my…
