The Kitchen at Summit Chase Amazes
Metro Atlanta has restaurants opening all over the place, but I bet the food does not taste as good as it does here…. Getting to hang out with my friend Linda, from Women of Culinary, after being on lockdown due to the pandemic and just having a hectic schedule, we were finally able to break bread together at a wonderful new restaurant in the Metro Atlanta Area. Let me tell you about it. If you are looking for a restaurant that uses farm fresh ingredients and focuses on making items from scratch, well let me introduce you to The Kitchen at Summit Chase. They have just come out recently with…

Nepal Tea Collective Review
I have received a sample of tea in exchange for my honest and unbiased review of the product. Nepal Tea Collective, an award-winning public benefit corporation that distributes fresh organic teas worldwide, now includes QR codes on all product labels. When scanned with smartphones, the QR codes offer information on the farm where the tea leaves were grown and when the particular bag of tea was plucked, packaged, and shipped. The QR codes are part of Nepal Tea’s pledge to bring more traceability and transparency to the tea and herb industries. “The tea industry is ripe for disruption. There are way too many middlemen creating little to no value at…

I received these products for free in exchange for sharing and giving my honest opinion. Starting now would honestly be a good idea with all of the challenges going on with receiving packages, you have to start early. Being a foodie myself, I thought, what would be the best gift to give someone? Hmmm. I know, cookbooks. In my gift guide for foodies, I decided that any and everything from America’s Test Kitchen would be a great…

Bun Mi: Best Vietnamese Cuisine in Atlanta
Thankful to being a member of Atlanta Food and Lifestyle Blogger’s Society, who help set up this wonderful experience, we were able to chose an entrée, drink and spring roll each. Healthy and authentic Vietnamese food that will keep calling you back is how I would describe Bun Mi. This simply decorated Vietnamese restaurant can be found in Buckhead Atlanta. It has such cute light fixtures and simple plants found on each table, but don’t you fear, you will find all of the fine and intricate details in all of the food. I enjoyed hearing Thao, the wife of the husband and wife duo, describe the process they go through…

Meat Education 101 – Big Green Egg
I had the opportunity to attend the Meat 101 Class at Big Green Egg last weekend thanks to Culinary Local, www.culinarylocal.com, and it was so enlightening and eye opening. Big Green Egg Culinary Center is one of the best places to go for a great cooking device (Big Green Egg) of course, awesome and knowledgable staff/educators and some of the tastiest food. So there was this Meat Doctor, by the name of Jerry Draluck who facilitated the class and I see why they chose him. I have been to the Culinary Center about 3 times and each time it was so much fun and in an environment that is full…

Buttermilk Sky Pies Remind Me of Grandma
(As a Dining Out Atlanta Passbook Ambassador, I received free samples in exchange for my honest and unbiased review of the product. #ad #affiliate) This is the season to eat more food including more delicious pies. All kinds of pies, sweet potato (no comment:)), dutch apple, buttermilk, pecan, coconut, etc. There are many great things that I have inherited from my mom, her looks (what can I say:)), her cooking abilities, with the exception of baking, I do not know what happened there, but she got it honestly from her mama. It must have skipped me because baking pies or even other sweets it is just not for me. I…

Marietta Square Gem Piastra
Marietta Square Gem Piastra On a beautiful Tuesday night in the Marietta Square I was able to take part in a wonderful wine and food pairing. In the heart of the Marietta Square, Piastra Restaurant is one of those hidden gems. I have been to the Marietta Square many times and have never been to the restaurant until that day thanks to Culinary Local. I felt that I was a VIP with all of the participants of the Italian Varietal Dinner were in a separate room off to the back. I met Chef Greg and the representative from Cliffhanger Wines and they both are/were a wealth of information. Chef…

Johnsonville Grillers Review
Tired of the plain bland burgers? I have something for you to try. As a member of Crowdtap I was chosen to be a part of the Johnsonville Grillers campaign and was given a coupon for a box of any flavor of the product. Hubby went to our local Walmart and it was found with the other frozen hamburgers. We chose Steakhouse Onion flavor and when I tell you the flavor is intoxicating it is. There are options to cooking these, however using the grill was the way that was strongly suggested. Grilling always give things that extra ump, but since we are in need of another grill we just…
