This post may contain affiliate links. 2017 is almost officially over, but before it leaves I had to take the time to do a mini flashback of some of the restaurants in Atlanta that I thought were some great places for all those that live and/or visit Atlanta have to visit. Being a foodie, I have found that there are plenty of places to eat that range from casual to fine dining and everything in between. Atlanta is certainly the place to be for food, fashion and fun and trust you will not be disappointed. I was able to eat at the restaurants I am about to mention at a…

Partying Like A Rockstar at BQE Restaurant
Partying Like A Rockstar at BQE Restaurant 2017 was like I mentioned the year of many firsts and this year I believe hubby and I had some of the most fun. We love to shake our booties when we can and we were able to do just that this birthday with a bunch of old school songs and some new ones. Hubby surprised me with a new restaurant out of the Dining Out Atlanta Passbook, so yes ladies and gents he is handsome and knows how to have a great time at a discounted price. As I have mentioned in my last birthday post, I had on my favorite new dress…

Inman Park in Atlanta is the Place to Be
This post is sponsored by Horizon Theatre, but all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own. Hubby and I try to do something different every date night and this one was no different. We usually venture out somewhere and love doing it and Inman Park is one of our favorites areas of Atlanta to explore. I wanted to mention to you just in case you are thinking of stepping out to a different part of Atlanta, this is one place that should not be overlooked. Inman Park is smack dab in what I would call the artisty district. Many opportunities to sitesee with all of the unique homes and businesses…

Atlanta is my home now
I am a proud transplant from Michigan, the “D” in particular and very proud of it, but have found a new love, Atlanta. There was a time in which you would be able to listen to me and tell that I was not from Atlanta, but not so much anymore. In fact, people say that also about my hubby which is awesome. Atlanta is a great place and I do not mind being associated with it. Atlanta is my home now One of the things that I love from Michigan are the great professional sports teams that they have there and the great inexpensive food choices. I found after moving…

I was able to attend for the first time a Sneak Peek of a play that is going to be at the Horizon Theatre in Little 5 Points in Atlanta, Georgia. The play is going to be wonderful and below is a little snippet of what it is about, but what I was most interested in was the behind the scenes which is what the attendees received at the sneak peek. Seeing how all of the departments from music, set design, lighting, etc comes together to make something so spectacular once it is done. Capers Restaurant and Bar
There are not many restaurants that I have frequented that have open kitchens, but Capers Restaurant and Bar does and that along with the beautifully decorated restaurant and lounging area is something that will keep you coming back. There is even a piano bar there, but unfortunately no one was performing that day, but we had enough great company that we did not miss the music. Speaking of decor, next time we go we will have to ask them if they will let us have some of those blue glasses:) Capers Restaurant Located off of Old 41 in Kennesaw, I have heard great things about Capers on Main (when initially opened)…
