Betty Sue’s Grand Opening in Atlanta
Today was nothing short of amazing! I had the pleasure of experiencing the grand opening of Betty Sue’s, the latest culinary gem by none other than Bryant “Chef Baul” Williams—a name well known in the industry for his work as a private chef to music icons like Cardi B, Kendrick Lamar, and Gucci Mane. Now, he’s bringing his signature flavors to the city with an upscale, all-day breakfast spot that is bound to become an Atlanta favorite. A Culinary Experience Like No Other Nestled in the heart of downtown Atlanta’s Five Points Plaza (20 Broad Street NW), Betty Sue’s is a place where Southern comfort meets gourmet excellence. Bryant “Chef Baul” Williams, renowned for his culinary expertise honed while serving as a private chef to music icons like Cardi B., Kendrick Lamar, and Gucci Mane, has expanded his reach with the grand opening of Betty Sue’s, an upscale all-day breakfast spot. Located in the heart of downtown Atlanta’s Five Point Plaza at 20 Broad Street NW, the restaurant welcomed its first patrons on Sunday, March 2nd. This venture marks Chef Baul’s second restaurant opening, realized in partnership with Daniella Williams, a financial literacy expert and former celebrity hairstylist. Together, they previously launched Binky’s, a popular soul food destination. Betty Sue’s, named in loving memory of Bryant’s grandmother, embodies…

RenderATL 2024: A Recap and Looking Forward
I received a pass to attend the conference in exchange for my honest unbiased opinion. #RenderATL #AtlantaTech #TechConference #AmericasMart RenderATL may be over for another year, but the excitement and energy it generated are still palpable! A huge thank you to @AmericasMartatl for hosting this incredible event that brought together Atlanta’s vibrant tech community. While things on my end got a little hectic this week (who can relate?), I was still able to attend some fantastic workshops and absorb a ton of valuable information. #informationoverload For those who missed out, don’t worry! Head over to the @renderatl social media pages to stay updated on announcements about next year’s conference. Trust…

Red Bull Culture Clash Atlanta
We were provided tickets to attend the event in exchange for coverage. #ad #redbullcultureclash #redbullmusic #cultureclash #atlevents Red Bull certainly knows how to put on a show!! Their Red Bull Music division brought us Culture Clash last Saturday and it was so much fun, disappointments, upsets, crowds galore, drinks featuring #redbull, good food and talented djs and their crews. Going in, I did not have a favorite and leaving I can say the same. All 4 of the stages were filled with major energy, no negativity (okay just a little 😊). I mean some people were cheated in my opinion, but it happens. Others felt the same and did not…

Snipes: Celebration of Dance Culture
I attended this event as a member of the press. #snipesusa #atlevents This past Friday, hubby and I attended one of the coolest events. Seeing as though we enjoy dancing, we had to be in the place. Unfortunately, we did not measure up to the talent that were competing but we were knee deep in the action as if we were 🙂 This grand finale event took place in Atlanta after being in other cities like, Detroit and Washington DC. SNIPES, the leader in streetwear and retail, put this series together which started in September, and it brought dance enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds in a celebration of freestyle dance and…

Highball Festival Atlanta
We received tickets to the event in exchange for coverage. #ad #spon #highballATL #FlockUp #BirdFam4Ever #CheersYall #FullSpeedAhead What an incredible experience and time had at the Highball Festival that was held at the historic Pullman Yards in Atlanta. This two-day event, curated by Futurebirds, featured bands that they handpicked, and can I say that they did a hellava job at it too. Headliners were Band of Horses one night and The Head and the Heart the other night. The crowd was pumped and amped both days. Hubby and I love music, and we had a ball and certainly found some new bands to follow and listen to. Talk about talented…

Keke Palmer’s Big Boss Rocks
I was provided a press pass in exchange for sharing about the Atlanta Film Festival. #atlff You talk about excited!! I was so excited to be able to be there to see Keke on the red carpet with her family to celebrate her directorial debut. And what an incredible job she did. When I tell you Keke Palmer’s Big Boss Rocks, it does!! She is a wonderful actress, but wow, did I miss the fact that she can sing. She has an amazing voice. The music business seems like it would be incredible if you have the right backing, but if you don’t, watch out. About Big Boss “Big Boss”…

Urban League of Greater Atlanta Celebrates 100+ years of service
I attended the event for free in exchange for my volunteer service. #ulgatl #thingstodoinatlanta The Urban League of Greater Atlanta was founded in 1920 as an affiliate of the National Urban League to support the multitude of African American families migrating from the rural communities of Georgia to the newly industrialized city of Atlanta during segregated times. 102 years later, ULGA, led by CEO Nancy Flake Johnson, strives to continue serving as an advocate for education, civic engagement, economic development, and a voice for the underserved in the Atlanta community. The celebration included a Reception, Program, and Concert featuring Anthony Hamilton. I have never seen him in person and he can really sang!! If you get a chance, please pay…

Atlanta Food & Wine Festival Debuting Sliced
I have received passes for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review of the event. #afwf2022 Is Thursday, September 15th, here yet? That was me days before the event. Needless to say that I was looking forward to it. It was after all, the 1st event of this kind under the Atlanta Food & Wine Festival umbrella. To be able to be part of Atlanta Food & Wine Festival debuting Sliced was truly an honor. For those of you who have never been to the Atlanta Food & Wine Festival, I would say Sliced is probably a 1/4 of the talent you would find at the Tasting Tent…
