Smooth Viking Beard Oil, Balm & Conditioner Review

I received three great products to test out from Smooth Viking (beard oil, balm and conditioner) for free in exchange for my honest review.  I am all girl and do not have a beard, so my awesome husband tried out the products for me. Shhh, I actually tried one, but I will tell you about it later. My hubby wears a beard off and on and just so happen around the time of the sample, he was wearing a heavier one, but it was pretty low by the end of the trial.

He usually makes sure to keep the beard clean and neat by brushing it down with a wave brush, but this would be the 1st time to actually “treat” his beard so he was excited.

The 1st product and one mainly used was the beard balm.  This product is 100% natural and contains Mango Butter, Shea Butter, Beeswax, Avocado Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Argan Oil, Castor Oil, and Pure Essential Oil. The smell, I have not been able to yet completely describe it, but it is very light but different. I can take or leave the smell, but they wanted to keep it all natural so there is no sense of messing that up with adding artificial smells to it.  It is a manly smell which is all that counts. No frutiness to these products. He just added some to his palm, melted it and smoothed it on his beard and then brushed his hair with the wave brush and then he went.  The hairs laid and stayed, no fly aways here. 

The 2nd product was the conditioner and that has Shea Butter, Mango Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, Argan Oil, Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Jojoba, Beeswax and Pure Essential Oil. The smell was the same and it was used as a touch up if necessary (if beard felt a bit dry) then he would put some in his balm, melt it by rubbing his hands together and then apply.

The 3rd and final product was the Beard Oil. This contains 100% natural ingredients (including Avocado Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Moroccan Argan Oil, Olive Oil, Pumpkin Seed Oil, Castor Oil, Jojoba Oil, & Vitamin E). This premium blend is meant to help soften a beard, protect against dandruff, and help keep beard hair neat, soft, and tangle free. Hubby does not have this problem, so he did not use much at all, but guess who did. Me!!!

It has all natural ingredients in it, so I used it in my scalp and my scalp did not itch and you do not need much. It comes in a dobbler so you put a few drops of oil in your hand, rub and apply. Now, I put the dobbler to my scalp and rubbed it in my head.  The smell did not bother me, but I am a scent person, so I just put a secret ingredient on my hair afterwards and I was good.

There were no skin irritations with either one of us, so he is going to be continuing to use the balm and conditioner, while I on the other hand will be using the beard oil on occasion in my hair.
