Recap Atlanta Food and Wine Festival 2018 #afwf18
I have received a free ticket to attend the Atlanta Food and Wine Festival, #afwf18, #knowthesouth in exchange for my honest and unbiased review and promotion of the event. #ad
Whether you are a foodie, beer, wine or spirits connoisseur, you would have wanted to be at this spectacular event. Everyone attending the Atlanta Food and Wine Festival  were greeted by this wonderful sign in the Loews Hotel in Downtown Atlanta and the moment we walked up I got a tad bit excited. You see last year, I attended by my lonesome, but after coming home and telling hubby about it, he wanted to come. I guess he forgot of conversation and all of my pics, because we went back and forth up until 4 days prior to the event, almost arguing whether he was coming with me or not. He is glad that he gave into me, but really is there any other way, because he was soooooo happy, full and tipsy by the time we left.
With the ticket we purchased, he was able to attend the Summer Friday’s House Party which was filled with summer bites and hand-crafted cocktails. I want to mention that Pedialyte was there to help keep us all hydrated.Â
Before we leave this area, I want to share with you a “real” video of my hubby eating beets which is totally not one of his favorites.

Included with his ticket was a Master Studio class to which we selected Down to the Ash, which featured great Chefs Jennifer Booker, Cassidee Dabney, Rob Nelson and Annie Pettry. This class was supposed to be outside, but just an hour before, the skies opened up and it began raining what seemed to be uncontrollably, and so the class was moved to the inside.Â

Tasting Tents (what we all have waited for:)): another opportunity to continue with the all you can eat and drink challenge called the Atlanta Food and Wine Festival (ha ha). We were greeted with more music, food and drink. Small parties were all over the place in the various Sponsor Tents.
The rain had stopped by this time, but the ground as you can guess was filled with mud but it did not stop any of us. We were all determined to have a great time and a great time we did have.
Have you ever been to the Atlanta Food and Wine Festival? What was your favorite part of the event?Â

wow… I love this kind of food festivals. I still remember last time I went to a food festival I had so many good food and wine, both of my friends almost got kicked out because we were a bit loud from the amount of alcohol we had… LOL
