6 Reasons You Want To Take Part In The Marietta Food Tour
Food, people, fun and refreshments. What better combinations are there? Not many if you ask me. Now one of the best places where you can get all 4 at one time is on a food tour. Over 10 years people. 10 years that we have been in Georgia and I have only been on 1 food tour. Can you believe it? I have even lived in cities that have regular food tours, but did not partake until now.
I have been to the Atlanta Food & Wine Festival, a couple of times, but never a food tour in Marietta. How could that be? Having lived in Marietta for over 6 years and still. I know for shame, for shame, but not any more. I decided to take the plunge and take a food tour in Marietta, and that was with Marietta Food Tours.

History Lesson:
The wonderful tour guides shared with us the ins and outs of the Marietta Square, which included so much history that helps make up that wonderful place we call Marietta.
Exercise:
This is a walking tour and I stress walking. My little puppies were tired by the time it was over. I went wearing some wedges, but sure wished that I had on some cute sandals.
Art/Murals:
As you walk around the Marietta Square you will find Fence Art all around showcasing works by area artists and photographers, as well as murals and who does not like murals.
People:
As you know, food always make a food tour, but so does your company. The people that were on the tour were engaging with the other members of the tour and that help make it fun.
Marietta Square Events:
The day of the tour was Saturday and for those of you that do not know, there is a Farmer’s Market going on and there are easily hundreds of people out there buying and selling fruits and vegetables from local farms. You will not go home empty handed.
Wonderful Restaurants:
I saved the best for last; that is all of the yummy deliciousness we had from restaurants in and around Marietta Square.
Australian Bakery Cafe: Fish and some chips
wr Social House: Pimento Cheese Fritter
Paul’s Pot Pies: Chicken Pot Pie
Kiosco: Columbian Salad and Baby Tamale
