Oy! Restaurant Experience
Calling all foodies everywhere. I have a restaurant for you and some of you food blogger have already been there I know or know someone who has been there.
Hubby and I are foodies in the heart, but we are not always able financially to go where we want when we want. At those times we go to a place that has great food, large portions and is reasonably priced and we found another one!!!
I am a major researcher (anyone looking to hire researchers, I am your girl (wink)), and so it started off with me looking for a restaurant that has a Sunday brunch. I wanted to take hubby somewhere that he has never been for a nice lunch after church for his birthday. My New Year’s Baby!! Happy Birthday again Sweetie!!
So, after days of research, I decided to narrow it down to another restaurant and this one. I showed him pictures and he said, “I want to go there.” That made my decision easy and I texted our 2 sons that live in Georgia and said to meet us at 1:15ish and yes I did use the ish, because I like to be on time and just in case I wasn’t if I used ish then I would not be late persay.
Oy! Restaurant Experience
This restaurant does not take reservations and I was nervous about getting a table in the afternoon on a Sunday, but thank God it was not crowded. We arrived and the 1st thing you do is place your order and they give you a number and you sit at a table that is available and wait for your food. We had no idea what we wanted so we stalled and looked at other patrons’ food. I pointed at a dish on one patrons’ table and asked the cashier what it was and she told me, “Mountain of Fries.”
I said, “I will take that.”, and so did our sons. Hubby ordered a side of bacon and a Philly Cheesesteak Giant Omelette that has 6 eggs and I hate that I did not get a picture of his omelette, but I got a picture of mine. Mine was the Diet Kids Omelette and it is called kids because there is half the amount of eggs in it. This was a perfect size for me, I did eat about half of my omelette and saved it for the next day so just imagine if I did not get the smaller size.
We loved the food immensely and the only thing I did not like was the queso on the omelette, but next time I will ask to have it without it and I will be good.
We are definitely coming back for another Oy! RestaurantExperience and maybe we will see you there.
Thanks for reading and God bless!!
Have you had an Oy! Restaurant Experience? How was it?
