Women of Faith: Amazing Joyful Journey Movie
I am not sure about you, but I am a woman who enjoys going to different women’s events. There was an event that because I enjoyed it the 1st time it was in my state that I willingly traveled to the next state over to take part in the event the next year. This is the 1st year that I have actually attended a Christian Women’s Conference and I enjoyed myself. In my past, I have heard of the Women of Faith Conference but I have never gone to one and then recently I heard of Women of Faith: An Amazing Joyful Journey Movie. I have heard that there are wonderful speakers and singers that present including the conference in 2014 that Priscilla Shirer was one of the speakers. I heard some of the message she gave on Youtube and I was hooked. I said if all the speakers are on point like she is then I have got to investigate this conference and attend the next one.
Part of my investigation was to see what Women of Faith Christian Conference was about and what I found was that it started in 1996 in 10 cities and Stephen Arterburn, a Christian talk show host began it and it was called A Joyful Journey and it must have been since because the conferences have not stopped. It is a weekend event for women and apparently they have had “Ladies Night Out” and this is my type of Ladies night out where there is nothing disrespectful or nasty, just love and understanding and encouragement from all that attended. All of us ladies, can use love and encouragement from our fellow Christian sisters.
There is a going to be a cinematic event with limited engagement in select cities, February 18 & 20, March 3 & 5 only. The movie will present the 20 year story of Women of Faith. Beginning in California in 1996 with four speakers committed to authenticity, Women of Faith grew to become the largest Christian Women’s Movement in history, touching over five million lives with personal stories full of laughter and tears.
You are able to witness the journey of Women of Faith through the years, on stage and off, their travels with World Vision, their impact on their audience, in short the way they’ve changed the world. Partly historical, and frequently hysterical, this unique cinematic experience will be packed with some of the most popular pieces from the beloved speaking team Sheila Walsh, Sandi Patty and others. Featuring never before seen interviews, outtakes, and behind the scenes footage, this “movie” will bring back memories for all those who have attended a Women of Faith weekend as well as create new memories for those experiencing it for the first time.
I am looking forward to at one swoop being able to witness pieces of the past 20 years, laughter, tears and great speakers, like Sandy Patti, Luci Swindoll and Sheila Walsh. Come see what I am talking about and purchase your tickets below.⇓
