Movie Review: The Reconciler

Eerie music in the background. Two men trapped in a room with no way out. One is awake and one is dead or is he? From the start of the movie to the end you do want to miss what happens. So what does that mean? Take bathroom breaks, get your snacks and make your calls before or after the movie or otherwise you will miss something.

This is not your typical dark and scary movie, but it is a movie that will make you wonder where things are going every scene. This is a story of hope, redemption, faith and love. God is all over the movie, however if one is not one of Christian faith you will not feel that you are being preached to or at. It is a thriller that is not gruesome or graphic or something you will have to sensor. Is there a decline of God and society? Well a reporter is sent out on a new type of job dealing with God which you will see that she has a strained relationship with, but her boss and for all of those wrestling buffs you will love it that Roddy Piper is one of the actors in the movie.

Jesus is the ultimate Reconciler of us back to God and He is mixed in directly and indirectly all in this movie. He can reconcile us back to others we need to be reconciled with and He does it in a way this is perfect. For your viewing pleasure here are some behind the scenes clips:
