My Try Out
I tried out the sauteed veggie indie bowl. The recipes are very easy to follow. The back of the jar tells you exactly what you need to have for the recipe which seems like one needs just 6-7 more ingredients to complete the meal. I made a couple of substitutions, but the recipe was still awesome!! Instead of red onions, I used white onions and instead of heavy whipping cream, I chose whipping cream. I added some mushrooms as well.
You prepare the vegetables, and in the meanwhile, you take the contents of the jar and add water and make a gravy. You then add the sauce to the vegetables, and bring to a simmer until it reaches the consistency you like. Take it off of the heat and add the heavy cream. Let it sit for a few minutes and enjoy. Simple right!! I know, it totally is and it was delicious. Check out below my reaction to trying AlcoEats for the first time….
