Feed the Homeless with GPFW and MUST Ministries
If you are a service oriented individual and have a heart for others, there is a worthwhile community event taking place Monday, September 7, 2015 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at the Marietta location of MUST Ministries.
My husband and I were asked by a dear brother from our church last year if we wanted to take part in feeding the homeless event and we jumped on it. We prepared a dish and served in whatever capacity was needed that day. It was indeed rewarding just to see the smiles on the faces of some individuals and families who would not have had a Christmas meal that day. We have been touched and will be there for this event to serve yet again. We recognize, as many others have, that we are blessed by God to be a blessing to others and this is just one small way to show that we are grateful.
The news spread, and awesome news, this year GPFW (Georgia Peach Fashion Week), georgiapeachfashionweek dot com has the same desire to help others and give HOPE to those in need.
GPFW not only focuses on fashion and entertainment, but thrives off of community service and this year decided to collaborate with MUST Ministries mustministries dot org, which is a volunteer organization that addresses the basic needs of individuals, families and children.
If this sounds like something you would like to be a part of, we are looking for sponsorship and donations (meat, vegetables, mashed potatoes, bread) along with plastic to-go containers, plastic utensils and toiletry supplies (toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, soap, tissue, hand sanitizer, etc).
As a sponsor and community supporter, your company name and logo will be featured on all marketing materials and outlets. Your sponsorship will help provide support to 125 people or more.
