Charlotte Magazine Best New Restaurant’s Party
Charlotte magazine has been producing a Best Restaurants issue and for the first time they have decided to make a party out of it. VIP is always the way to go and this experience was no different. On behalf of Culinary Local, I was awarded this chance to go to Charlotte and Eat!!! Hubby and I are always down for a roadtrip and off we went to take part in Charlotte’s Magazine Best New Restaurant Party and we had a ball.
Each guest was given a chip to be tossed in the bucket of their best new restaurant choice and there was plenty to choose from. Wine, cocktails and fine food all night and all while raising money for a local non-profit, Community Culinary School of Charlotte.
Great hosts, Colleen Odegaard and Eugene Robinson from WCNC Charlotte Today helped bring more excitement to the party as they took pics with party-goers and ate right along with us.
People’s Choice went to 204 North which is who we choose so we were super excited about that and they served pork belly yummmmm…over yellow grits with peas. Oh my!!! One of my new loves is pork belly and I turned hubby on to it as well.
Judge’s Choice was Aix En Provence with their salmon that had hawaiian hearts of palm.
