6 Las Vegas Must Dos #vegas #dtlv
Las Vegas Must Dos #vegas #dtlv Traveling is one of my favorite things to do and making sure I have my essentials are a must. It is so uncomfortable to have to worry about driving around sometimes and unfamiliar city to find what you need. I just wanted to concern myself with everyone having a great time and that was it. This was my hubby’s first time in Las Vegas, my dad’s 87th birthday and a mini family trip and it had to be special. We did several things while we were there and trust me, there are several things to do while there, but here is my list of…

Some of the items listed below, were given to me for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. The rest of the items, I did purchase:) #ad School is out in most places throughout the country and we all are itching to be anywhere but inside. Beach, mountains, camping, or that long awaited trip to never neverland that you have longed to get to. No matter what it is, I have found after being on 3 trips in less than 2 months, that there are some travel essentials that I have to have with me (non-food related). My goal is to possibly give you some ideas of things…

Citizens Market now showing at Horizon Theatre Company
Kicking off Horizon’s New American Dreams Series is a powerful comedy-drama following a hopeful group of immigrants as they form an unlikely family, working to master the ups and downs of language, love, and staying afloat in their city. Citizens Market makes its Southeastern premiere at Horizon Theatre Company with an all-star cast and creative team, with performances beginning May 18. A good small supermarket has everything its neighborhood needs, including a charming cast of characters behind the counter. Citizens Market follows a hopeful group of immigrants as they form an unlikely family, working to master the ups and downs of language, love, and staying afloat in their new world. The Pittsburgh…

Freaky Friday Fun At Horizon Theatre
A comedic bunch of laughs that everyone in the family will enjoy. The funniest thing to me like in the movie, is seeing the mother and daughter act like each other and it is so exaggerated, but at the same time it seems like there is no other way for either of them to act. They play each other so well that the mother could be the daughter and the daughter the mother. All of the songs are catchy and it made me want to be a teenager again. I totally wanted to be on stage when they were doing the slow motion thing and oh so funny was when…

Easy Self-Care Tips For The Busy Woman
This is a sponsored post. #ad This post contains some affiliate links. After just celebrating National Women’s Month in March, I personally think that being a woman can be challenging year ‘round and because of that women should be celebrated every month. What do you think? We take care of the people at work, at home and our places of religious preference sometimes at the same time without batting an eyelash. Doing for others, although we would not sometimes have it any other way, but it takes it’s toll on a person. Women can tend to carry a lot more than you will ever know, because we are good at…

5 Must Have Travel Pieces for Women from Rosarini Fashion
I have received these pieces from Rosarini Fashion for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. #ad Depending on when you are reading this post, it is either St. Patrick’s Day or the day after and I feel lucky to have been chosen to work with Rosarini. I am one for deals and this brand is good for all women and is reasonably priced. The clothes are fashionable, comfortable and great for any occasion you may have in your life. What was one of the most appealing aspects is that you do not have to iron the pieces. Lord knows I hate to iron and the brand knows…

The Ballad of Klook and Vinette
Be warned!!! If you are not in love when you come see this play, you will be when you leave. This is such the love story that it put everything and I mean everything I have seen to shame. With the exception of some of the Words in the Song of Solomon, I have not heard anything so deep. I was in awe and that does not happen easily for me. I am a hard person to impress, but I was blown away with the words and depth of heart that the characters had for each other. From their first conversation involving carrot juice to Klook saying, “We are seventeen…

5 Reasons to Run to First Watch Cafe
I have received a meal free in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion. #ad Recently I was invited to First Watch to help promote a new coffee program that they have called Project Sunrise. More about that later, but I am so upset that prior to my visit I had not heard of First Watch and after tasting the food, I really could not understand why unless people were trying to keep the place to themselves. A hidden gem in Smyrna, GA (currently 7 total locations in Georgia), only serving breakfast, brunch and lunch and truly they do specialize in the three and they truly do not disappoint. My…

Sampling The World With Wine at Wahoo! Wines and Provisions
Sampling The World With Wine at Wahoo! Wines and Provisions If you are not able to make it to a winery, attending the Wine Tasting Saturdays at Wahoo! Wine and Provisions  from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm is the next best thing. You can get cheese, ice cream, wine, spices and more. The staff are so knowledgeable and this is a place where you will find the owner sharing and interacting with patrons. Hubby was my guest and we decided to stop here prior to doing some hard work on our side business. More about that another time, but yes we treated ourselves first and enjoyed our time at the Wine Tasting.…

Partying Like A Rockstar at BQE Restaurant
Partying Like A Rockstar at BQE Restaurant 2017 was like I mentioned the year of many firsts and this year I believe hubby and I had some of the most fun. We love to shake our booties when we can and we were able to do just that this birthday with a bunch of old school songs and some new ones. Hubby surprised me with a new restaurant out of the Dining Out Atlanta Passbook, so yes ladies and gents he is handsome and knows how to have a great time at a discounted price. As I have mentioned in my last birthday post, I had on my favorite new dress…
