Unashamed Book Review and Giveaway
Watching from the side, I saw her mouth move to form, “Oh my goodness, I am so sorry for saying that Mommy”. My friend had said something very nasty to her mom and her mom forgave her, but had she forgiven herself? Years later she still manages to tell me the story and began to ask her about how she is feeling about it, because it seemed to me that she was holding on to guilt and shame. This incident lingering on for years like that is truly a sign of it, but sometimes we just overlook it as being normal. Heather Davis Nelson, the wonderful author of Un-ASHAMED:…

Walk it off Now Challenge and Giveaway
Join Me and Many Others In The Walk It Off Now Challenge! A lot of us had as a new year’s resolution to lose weight and eat better. To be quite honest, I have not done all that great with either one, how about you? I had unrealistic goals instead of little goals and work my way up to the more challenging ones. For example, anyone who knows me knows I love sweets so instead of cutting them out all together, I should have reduced the amount first and then worked my way down to next to nothing. So what happened? I failed and almost gave up and started beating…

Christian music is the main genre you will hearing if you come by my house especially on a Saturday when I do not have anything to do but housework. Wise Guys Book Review and Giveaway
When one says wise guys, some probably think of some smartypants guy who always seems to have something smart (not always intellectually smart) to say/always countering someone or you might think of the type of men in the Wise Guys movie. To be honest, either guy can impart some wisdom into your life and in essence you can call them a wise guy. We all can use some wise guys and gals who can help us along in this journey of life. It truly takes a village to raise children these days with all of the degradation and decay going on and if you are a single mother you…

4 Free things to do while in Macon
It was boring staying in that hotel room looking at cable television all day while the hubster went about enjoying his business meeting, so instead of being cooped up in the hotel I decided to venture out. During my adventuring, I managed to get lost a good couple of times (I will not say how many, but let’s just say I managed to find my way back by the time his meetings were over for the day) and while I was getting lost I found some need things to do for free.
