The Blessings of Unity Book Review and Giveaway
I was given a copy of The Blessings of Unity Book to read and give my opinion about. Marriage is an institution that I fully enjoy. Sure are some of the days challenging? Yes, but I would not change it for the world and more importantly I would not change the man I am married to. Hubby and I are approaching our 10 year anniversary next year and as many others it has not been the smoothest road. There have been many times we were going to part ways before and with Christ. We both came from very different home situations and experiences and brought that into our marriage…

Parenting 14 Gospel Principles Book Review & Giveaway
Parenting in any form is not an easy job, but it is one of the most important and rewarding jobs there is on this planet. And like with any other job, we always can think of ways to do it differently that will effect everyone involved in a positive way. To do that job is not one that we can do on our own. Tripp shares that our purpose is to lead and guide our children not rule over them. No checklists given in this book, just suggestions on how we can change our attitudes towards being parents and showing us how to parent with grace, love, patience and joy. Every…

Hale Fertility Journey Summer 2016 Edition and 15 pounds weight loss
Hello All. I have to admit, I had hoped to be better about documenting our Hale Fertility Journey, but to be honest with all of the changes that have occurred in our lives it has been a challenge to keep up with everything including posting. I wanted to surprise you all with a treat. Instead of coming to you with some sad story and lame background, I wanted to have hubby fill you in on our update. We went to beautiful Daytona Beach Florida to celebrate our 9 year anniversary and a ball we did have. He is totally an awesome guy and all who know him love him, so what we…

Developing a pattern of prayer with 365 Pocket Morning Prayers
Morning devotionals are a great way to get before God on a daily basis. I personally have not developed a pattern of prayer to Father God in the morning because I do not know about you, but I have let the cares of this world stir my focus on the problems instead of in the Problem Solver. Developing a pattern of prayer with 365 Pocket Morning Prayers 365 Pocket Morning Prayers, by Dave Veerman, focuses on a different topic each day, a prayer and scripture. I have learned that praying the Word and in faith is what produces results. These prayers are based upon the Word and are short and…

What Does God Really Promise Book Review
Believer in Father God or not, we all have asked ourselves questions about God and His Word. You may feel that asking questions is a bad thing, but it is not. It shows a willingness to know and learn more and in this case about Him. I want to warn you, there are thought provoking and some controversial questions included, not just easy questions to answer. There are 101 questions with 3 separate parts that the author address: Part 1: Questions and Answers About God’s Promises What does God’s promise of eternal life mean? Part 2: Questions and Answers  About God’s Church Why are there so many different kinds of…

Live on Forever The Afters CD Review #Flyby
Things are more and more challenging living in this world and you have to hold on to someone and for me that is Father God. He actually holds on to me, because quite frankly with some of my actions and decisions, I clearly wasn’t holding on to Him. He manages to speak to people many ways and for me sometimes it is through music. In particular, one group I have recently been following is The Afters. First exposure to this group was the song, Light up the Sky and I have been in like since that album and they are back now with a new release called Live On Forever. My favorite…

Movie Review: The Reconciler
Eerie music in the background. Two men trapped in a room with no way out. One is awake and one is dead or is he? From the start of the movie to the end you do want to miss what happens. So what does that mean? Take bathroom breaks, get your snacks and make your calls before or after the movie or otherwise you will miss something. This is not your typical dark and scary movie, but it is a movie that will make you wonder where things are going every scene. This is a story of hope, redemption, faith and love. God is all over the movie, however if…

Hale Fertility Journey Month 2
Waiting is the hardest part for me. Waiting to see what is on the other side of that door. Waiting to see if it is all going to be worth it sooner than later. I do not doubt so much if but it is when, but it has got to happen soon Father God. I do not know how much more we can take. Is this the month? Is this the month that I can finally say yes I am going to put in my leave of absence form to my manager?

The Life We Never Expected Book Review and Giveaway
Being in the field that I am (assisting those with disabilities/challenges to work), I am able to see all types of productive and loving individuals caring for their friends and loved ones when they come in the office. At this point, however I do not see a lot of the behind the scenes interaction of the guardians/parents with their special needs child or children. I get to see them once they are grown or almost grown and depending on the disability I can imagine what the caretakers had to go through, but only a glimpse of it. Andrew and Rachel Wilson share with us in The Life We Never Expected,…
