Crucible Cast Iron Pot Cleaner
Cooking is one of the things that I enjoy doing, but at times frankly it can be quite a task especially when using a cast iron skillet or pot. The last time that I have used one was over a year ago and it was to cook curry chicken for Christmas I believe. I honestly am looking forward to cooking friend chicken in it to see how beautiful the skin will come out. Part of the reason that I shy away from using this type of cookware is because it is a hassle to clean the cookware afterwards. You cannot use soap or a Brillo pad, so when you have those good drippings at the bottom of the pot/pan then you would have to soak the item after the pot/pan cooled down.
I did manage to find an item that will be able to help with cleaning cast iron cookware and it is ⇒Crucible Cast Iron Cleaner.
This little beauty is stainless steel, however it is not abrasive. It is strong enough to get the pot/pan clean, but not scratch up the cookware. This precious stainless steel is chainmail (which is used in jewelry making and is of high quality) and is worth the money.
I tried the Crucible Cast Iron Pot Cleaner on my large cast iron pot and it did not disappoint. It cleaned without stripping the seasoning from the pot. View my quick, not so perfect video:
