Capers Restaurant and Bar
There are not many restaurants that I have frequented that have open kitchens, but Capers Restaurant and Bar does and that along with the beautifully decorated restaurant and lounging area is something that will keep you coming back. There is even a piano bar there, but unfortunately no one was performing that day, but we had enough great company that we did not miss the music. Speaking of decor, next time we go we will have to ask them if they will let us have some of those blue glasses:)
Capers Restaurant Located off of Old 41 in Kennesaw, I have heard great things about Capers on Main (when initially opened) so when hubby and I were asked to attend a friend’s Celebration of Life get together, we could not resist. We arrived before the birthday girl and chose to review the menu while we waited and the first thing we said to each other is that we will have to come back. There are many items on the menu that were selections we would make and surely be happy.
Capers founded in 2004 by Steve Dudley about 12 years ago in a small house beside the train tracks off of Main Street. Known for great tasting steak, chicken and seafood. We saw first hand some of the seafood selections and they looked very moist and we heard no complaints from the members of our party.
Hubby and I had vegetarian options (capers house salad and À la carte veggies) and I found a new love, Saratoga seltzer water and we were very happy. The Kale Salad was one that I will have to reproduce. I would challenge you to not tell someone you know that does not like kale and tell them to try it. They will not be disappointed.
