Alora Jewelry

Jewelry is this girl’s best friend, next to my husband of course and so when I had the chance to try out Alora Jewelry I jumped at it. One of the pieces reminded me of my times in high school and for me all of it was not the best times of my life, but there were portions here and there of my high school experience that I did manage to enjoy. There were 2 different periods of time where I had favorite pieces of jewelry, one was when I was in my sophomore year (given to me by my high school friend) and after I graduated from high school (given to me by my dadda), but what I want to focus on is the gift from my friend and it was a beautiful Swatch watch that had the sun, moon and the stars on a blue face. It was my favorite watch and unfortunately, somewhere between us moving to a new city I lost it and have not seen a watch like it since, but I recently saw some beautiful jewelry online and just so happens, one piece in particular was a moon. The moon is simple, but absolutely beautiful. It took me back to high school and my favorite watch that I have yet to replace.

We don’t believe in perfection.We believe in personal significance. Instead of hiding our flaws, we embrace them and make them central to our character. That is why we design beautiful meaningful and personal jewelry that is as unique as the women who make them and the women who wear them.

Their jewelry is made from recycled materials, made by hand and fair trade and gives back to the community.

Those key qualities make me want to purchase every piece they have, because I do not know of any jewelry makers care about fair trade let alone give back to the community.
