Betty Sue’s Grand Opening in Atlanta
Today was nothing short of amazing! I had the pleasure of experiencing the grand opening of Betty Sue’s, the latest culinary gem by none other than Bryant “Chef Baul” Williams—a name well known in the industry for his work as a private chef to music icons like Cardi B, Kendrick Lamar, and Gucci Mane. Now, he’s bringing his signature flavors to the city with an upscale, all-day breakfast spot that is bound to become an Atlanta favorite.
A Culinary Experience Like No Other
Nestled in the heart of downtown Atlanta’s Five Points Plaza (20 Broad Street NW), Betty Sue’s is a place where Southern comfort meets gourmet excellence. The cozy yet elevated ambiance makes it perfect for a brunch date, a weekend indulgence, or just satisfying those soul-food cravings any day of the week.
Of course, I had to try one of their standout dishes—Oxtails & Grits. Let me just say, every bite was an experience! The rich, tender oxtails paired with creamy, perfectly seasoned grits were absolutely mouthwatering. And don’t even get me started on their famous Hotlanta sauce—a sweet and spicy honey-hot blend that takes everything up a notch.
A Star-Studded Unveiling & Special Guests
Adding to the excitement of the evening was the unveiling of In The City Magazine’s cover, featuring none other than the power couple, Chef Baul and Daniella Williams. Their journey together—blending culinary mastery with financial expertise—has brought this incredible vision to life, and seeing them celebrated in such a big way was truly inspiring.
And to make the night even more special, Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens was in attendance for the ribbon-cutting ceremony, showing just how much this new spot means to the city!
