Snipes: Celebration of Dance Culture

This past Friday, hubby and I attended one of the coolest events. Seeing as though we enjoy dancing, we had to be in the place. Unfortunately, we did not measure up to the talent that were competing but we were knee deep in the action as if we were 🙂

This grand finale event took place in Atlanta after being in other cities like, Detroit and Washington DC. SNIPES, the leader in streetwear and retail, put this series together which started in September, and it brought dance enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds in a celebration of freestyle dance and its cultural significance.

Each event in the 4 Quarter Series will feature a unique blend of all freestyle dance styles, including Hip Hop, Breaking, Popping, Flexing, and Lite Feet, ensuring a diverse and engaging experience for participants and audiences alike. The series will kick off in Washington, D.C., followed by Detroit, Michigan, and concluding in Atlanta, Georgia.

EVENT DETAILS

This fall event will once again highlight “Freestyle is the Key Style” as dancers come together to create an unforgettable medley of entertainment. The event features beloved judges and promises a night of high anticipation and audience engagement.

·       Guests: Beks, Danzel, Creator D Tyler, Kai, R-L0

This competition went from 5 rounds of 4 down to the top 3 with the 1st place winner winning: $2000; 2nd place winner winning $1000, and 3rd place willing $500. SNIPES: Celebration of Dance Culture was one for the books. I am looking forward to next year’s competition and who knows I just may enter.
