Leaders are made not born. We all have the potential to be leaders, but do we take up the charge. I have seen many leaders in my day and there are some hefty prices to pay to be in a Leadership position. The question is, do you have enough influence? Are you truly a Leader? What exactly does it take to not only be a Leader, but one with influence. Delving into I AM David Book by Jimmy Evans, I found that there are some key things that you must be willing to do.

I AM David Review
Pastor Jimmy Evans has put much thought into this book and you can tell. I honestly have not taken the story of King David’s and dissect it like he does and makes it relatable to everyone. I mean everyone can learn and grow by reading and learning from King David’s life. He has done some things, but yet and still, Father God says that he is a man after his own heart (1 Samuel 13:14; Acts 13:2). Pastor Evans shares his experiences and is able to do it in a way that you are right there watching it go on. He gives you hope that you too can fight and get through it. There are 10 lessons, each their own chapter along with a Leader Guide (for those who want to teach a I AM David Bible Study) and Study Guide at the end of the book.
King David
King David shown weaknesses and strengths throughout the Bible, but it did not stop him from becoming King. There are many things that I have done that I just knew that I would not be able to come back from, but Father God did not let me go. He gives you time to look at yourself or in King David’s example someone was brought to him to shown him himself.

Lovely giveaway, I recently read it. Many books have been written about David, but Pastor Evan’s book sheds new light. Each of the ten lesson emphasize life David’s traits and actions that made him a great king and how to avoid David’s weaknesses.
Book contains three powerful prayers, The Warrior’s prayer, A Prayer for Wounded Children of God and A prayer for Humility.
