5 Reasons Why Ginger Is A Father’s Friend

 Just like we celebrate our hard working mothers, we should celebrate our hard working fathers. My father has always been a hard worker from enlisting in the Army, going to school and obtaining a degree from the local college to improve his chances for promotion at work and an excellent promotion it was from which he has retired from and is now enjoying himself on the golf course.

This is for you if you are thinking of a way to incorporate ginger, that wonder spice into some great recipe pairings that that father in your life may enjoy. I may sneak one of these things into my pairing this weekend myself and enjoy it right along with my hubby due to me enjoying ginger so much. I mean why should I deprive myself of such wonderfulness:)

 1. Traditional Moscow Mule

 

Ingredients:

• 1 ½ ounces Purity vodka
• 1 ½ ounces lime juice
• 4 oz Brooklyn Crafted Extra Spicy Ginger Beer

Directions:

• In a Moscow mule mug, combine the listed ingredients and pour over ice. Stir, garnish with a lime and enjoy!

1. Kentucky Mule

Ingredients:

• 1 ½ ounces bourbon
• 1 ½ ounces lime juice
• 4 oz Brooklyn Crafted Extra Spicy Ginger Beer

• In a Moscow mule mug, combine the listed ingredients and pour over ice. Stir, garnish with a lime and enjoy!

1. Low Calorie Sparkling Mule

Ingredients:

• 1½ oz. vodka
• 5 oz. Sparkling Ice Ginger Lime
• Lime wedge and mint for garnish (optional)

Directions:

• Fill your copper mug with ice to allow it to get it cold. Pour the vodka over the ice and top with Sparkling Ice Ginger Lime then stir. Garnish with a lime wedge and fresh mint then serve

1. Blackberry Run Ginger Beer

Ingredients:

• 1.5 oz. rum
• 3.5 oz. Brooklyn Crafted Ginger Beer Mini in Lemon/Lime
• Lime Slices
• Fresh Blackberries

Directions:

• Muddle Lime and blackberries in a mason jar.
• Fill with ice and pour in rum and Brooklyn Crafted.
• Garnish with lime wedge.
