Couple’s Massage From Hell

Lights dim with candles flickering, the soothing sounds of a waterfall in the background, my and my hubby started to prepare to enjoy what we thought was going to be a relaxing couple’s massage at the Renova Spa in one of the cutest hotels in Montego Bay, Jamaica, Riu Reggae.

After a 1st night of relaxing, eating and drinking with family and friends, we decided to go for a couple’s massage at 8:00 am the next morning and we were excited, very excited and it started off well..

We were greeted by the smiling therapist and told to remove our clothing down to the undies and on the website, you can if you want, be naked because no one was going to see anything more than the top part of your buttocks so we stripped got under the towels provided and then began the…….

Couple’s Massage From Hell

They covered our eyes and apparently part of this massage included a facial and our eyes were covered so they thought the entire massage. The massage proceeded with no issues, and as mentioned initially our eyes were covered, but mine were not completely covered and I noticed while on our backs they the two therapists whispered to each other (Natasha to Shannique). The music started skipping and Natasha fixed the music and Shannique had left the room for some reason. We continued on and within 10 minutes time, I noticed that Natasha (while they both were massaging our right legs), lifted his towel, looked over at Shannique showing her his private parts as well. I immediately raised up and said, “What was that?!!”

They both looked at me, as to say what are you talking about and said nothing, just looked at me funny and my husband, not realizing what had happened said, “What is wrong?” and I said, “We will just finish.” and we turned on our backs shortly thereafter. I wanted to try and finish the massage knowing that I was upset, thinking that maybe I imagined it, but I did not drink, I was not high or anything. I was very much so alert. I had to remember that I was not in America, where things would have ended differently. Seriously, it would have been ugly.

We got dressed and I explained to hubby what I saw and we hurried and put on our clothes so that we can speak with the manager. We filled out the comment forms (they switched them up on us come to find out after some investigation that I did on Facebook). Natasha Dawkins gave me her form and Shannique Milling gave him my form. I cannot believe they even asked for a comment knowing what they have done.

Before we filled out anything, I told him to take a picture so I can have their names for later when I report them. He told the therapists that he was violated and I said, “Your coworker exposed him to you.” Shannique said, “Your eyes were covered.” I said, “No they were not, I saw her lift up his towel and show you his private parts.” Shannique said, “I am very professional and have been doing this over 6 years.” Natasha Dawkins (the most disrespectful unprofessional so-called therapist) said nothing, but stood there looking like what are you talking about. I did not dispute it any longer knowing that there were lying. We left and Shannique opened the door for us and gave us the complimentary wine that everyone gets after receiving services from Renova Spa.

We immediately went to the hotel front desk and was told from Jhamelle (supervisor on duty for Riu Reggae hotel) that he would get in contact with Chevelle B., a supervisor from the Riu Montego Bay location which was next door. Jhamelle seemed apologetic and was in shock. He contacted Chevelle and we were told that at 12:30 pm, June 11th, that Chevelle would be over but apparently she could not leave and we finally spoke with her at 2:00 pm.

To date, we were told by LaToya M., manager from both locations that she was sorry and reimbursed us but we did not hear anything else other than the two were suspended for the day but that was all. Needless to say, this ruined the rest of my trip because left and right I would think about it and it would hurt me and tears would come to my eyes.

They need to be fired and have their licenses revoked. Please help share this with others.
