My Man’s Essentials
After just getting back from visiting family and taking care of some business, we found that packing in a hurry for trips is not where it’s at. Trust me, if you do not, you will leave something behind. Totally should pack ahead of time and I will say kudos to those of you who pack ahead of time and make lists. My mommy makes list all of the time and honestly, I have made fun of it in my head until this last trip. It certainly would have come in handy this time. As some of you know when flying Spirit you have to pack lite and they mean it or it is a hefty price to pay if you do not.
Anyway, what we found is that we left some essentials, in particular, my man left one particular item that sometimes makes or breaks him…
That one item is cologne. Yes cologne or some form of “smell good†is what he would say, so for him I have decided to write this, My Man’s Essentials and hopefully it will help someone else or just give you a chuckle.
His essentials: straight edge razor to keep his face looking neat, his wave brush to help keep his waves tight and some smell good (can’t be funky).
My Man’s Essentials
Well as I mentioned there was one item that we forgot to pack and it was the cologne and the funny thing was is that it happened right after I had obtained the sample of POLO Red Extreme by Ralph Lauren for him from Influenster. It was the perfect size for him to take, but oh well. I gave the box to him and he was very surprised that I gave him the box (usually 90% of the boxes are for me:))
He opened the box the scent came in and tore open the smaller box that had the scent in it and was pleasantly surprised. He put it on and I smelled his neck and yes I was a happy camper. It is woodsy and spicy both of which I like to smell on him. I can tell by the look in his eye that he is looking for me to get him some more POLO Red Extreme by Ralph Lauren. See you soon and thank you for stopping by.
